Projects & Blog

This is my place to be creative, muse about certain aspects of photography, feature inside looks behind various projects, and just show the kind of work I love doing. I’ll link both photo essays and videos below. (Click on the featured image or post title to view.)

Episode #2 of “My Favorite Clicks”. Many years ago I had a short-lived dream job as lead photographer for a running and lifestyle magazine in Taiwan. Katie and I (with the support, input, help, and more from her partner Gregg) have been collaborating regularly for over six years now. We’ve had some great shoots, but this one ranks among our best. Come see what we did together in just a few hours! (Gallery & Video)

Magic with Plastic

Episode #3 of “My Favorite Clicks“. In this episode, I delve into the unique charms and quirks of Holga cameras. From their vignettes to their light leaks and soft focus, I share my experiences and appreciation for this fantastic (some would say “craptastic”) plastic wonder.

Join me as I explore creativity through the dreamy lens of the Holga. (Gallery & Video)

While working with a documentary filmmaker I was tasked with making still photos of an interview he was shooting for a Taipei hospital with a recent open heart surgery patient, Mr. Chiu.
